The purpose of Pure Consciousness is to educate the modern world about the concept of medicine in ancient traditions and redefine the term "medicine". The medicine that Pure Consciousness refers to is anything that improves one's connection to the "Great Mystery" and to improving one's personal perception, understanding, power, strength and resilience to the challenges that life brings to expand your human experience and understand the lessons, that are inherent. It is based on the understanding that you’re always receiving both the opportunity and the opportunity cost and that you are so much more than your story.
The concept of medicine and the illusion that the pharmaceutical giants promote, is that by popping a pill you will receive a quick fix from whatever ails you and this is far removed from the process of old. It has taken out of context the healing that illness provides space on an emotional, physical, mental and spiritual level, to heal beliefs and bring thoughts that you are not conscious of to the surface. Your spirit and mind talks to you in whispers through your body, which is the sacred vessel you have been gifted to manifest in this life time.
My beautiful nephew, Jack White was born into sacred vessel which had massive complex health issues. Jack was born with Mitachondrial Disease, which impacts the power house of your cells, the Mitachondria. This severe health challenge, had very little research to diagnose a cure back in 2004 or through the 10 years of Jack’s life. Jack endured over 45 medications a day to support him through cruel seizures and life threatening bodily imploding functions. Jack's life force was an incredible power in raising awareness against ignorance for all with special needs. My nephew Jack departed on February 23rd 2015 and he achieved much in his 10 short years. His parents made sure that his life and brutal suffering was not in vain and that he had the opportunity to create and express...despite not being able to walk, talk, move independently.
Jack received an international posthumous award for a poem that he wrote about a whale shark that won him the Creative Writers Sculptures of the Seas Competition in Western Australia in 2013 at 8 years of Age. He was known as the dolphin and whale shark whisperer...As he had a natural affinity with these very intelligent animals. Like attracted like. This poem allowed Jack to become the highest ever fundraisers for the charity Variety, raising $25 000 in one month. His legacy lives on immortalized on the top of the Fremantle Maritime Museum where his poem has been published on a plaque next to the huge whale shark.
Did this child have bad days? Did this child endure endless invasive procedures, code blues and emergency hospital visits? Of course he did but rarely would you hear him cry or complain...He decided when he needed to go into palliative care, he even decided what colours we would wear to his funeral. His parents empowered Jack with the gift of communication and being able to have a say and a choice. His parents had incredible resilience. My heart shares their pain at his loss but marvels at just how much they were able to give, devoted to the core to make an incredible life journey for their son. Such is the power of the heart, when combined with strong minds....
oeI have recently begun to create a whale shark canvas in Jacks' honour and was drawn to an art market at wonderful coffee house in South Fremantle in Western Australia, on the weekend. There I met the beautiful Rosie (5th descendant of John Septimus Roe) who had painted and was selling the most beautiful whale sharks in honour of her husband that had passed. Rosie had shared with me that her daughter and herself had swum with the whale sharks to grieve the death of her husband. The paintings that this experience inspired was created in traditional aboriginal dot tradition were captivating and she allowed me to share my story with her.
Turns out we had a lot in common. We had both witnessed the
passing our husbands and 10 year old nephews. We had both travelled
to spread their ashes in many spots around the world but both drawn up
north of Western Australia. Rosie to Coral Bay to swim
with the whale sharks and me to Karrigine (450 million
year old sea bed floor). Both of us drawn by circumstance to with the
whale sharks.
According to ancient traditions the whale shark as a
medicine animal symbolizes deeper awareness, cosmic consciousness, emotional
rebirth and understanding, nurturing and devotion to community, appreciation of
beauty and the importance of balance. A beautiful and fitting tribute to the lessons that Jack's short life brought to all those that loved him dearly.The beautiful Rosie gifted me with two beautiful whale sharks painted by her and her 13 year old daughter. I now visualize both these beautiful creatures swimming along side me, giving me strength and direction on the path ahead. I don't doubt the wisdom of these creatures or the timing and synchronicity of them being gifted to me. Life is always sending you signs but are you open to receiving them? The gift of authenticity and heartfelt honesty resulted in two strangers sharing a warm embrace, understanding, strength and connection in one moment of pure consciousness.
Pure Consciousness utilizes the wisdoms of the ancients and the science of modern day medicine to bring balance, creativity and a greater connection to your own deep mysteries, enhancing your creativity and allowing you to manifest a greater sense of purpose and meaning in your life.
