Just completed a 6 week meditation course with Sorelle Kelly at Pure Consciousness last night.

10 weeks ago, Brit miraculously survived a head on collision on the country roads of Western Australia ...police attending the event were surprised that she had survived such a horrific crash and was blessed with strangers whom waited with her, whilst the car threatened to explode...

It took 3 hours to cut Britt Wellington out of the vehicle and she then began the long road to recovery..

It has been my humble privilege to work with Britt on the ward at Shenton Park Hospital and facilitate the Pure Consciousness Tibetan Bowl Meditation and Educational experience...

BRITTS UPDATE TO ALL FAMILY & FRIENDS..
Yesterday Britt saw the Professor for her 2 week medical update.
We got very exciting and VERY unexpected news..

Professor said that Britt has been the Perfect Patient, and that healthly eating, , ...massages, excercise , meditation and a very positive and determined mind has played a major role in her very fast healing, and today she may start to begin her journey to walk again on this earth...once Britt is comfortable with walking Britt will leave the hospital to continue her healing journey at home with her 2 little boys that have missed her so much, and with family & friends.xx
Britt we are so so excited and anxious to....we will finally have you HOME again...
You have put the pressure on Girl.!!!! We need to get your new house unpacked...I thought I had a month to do it.. NOT A FEW DAYS..lol. .

To all family & friends out there..your love and support has played a major role in Britts speedy journey of healing..words will never be enough..but thankyou, for all the LOVE and support...

This is Brits own recount of her recovery process with Pure Consciousness...

 

"Energy only Transforms" This Is what I have lived by the last few months, repeating it in my mind constantly throughout the day. I have not only gone through a physical journey, but also a mental, emotional and spiritual journey. My mind has taken me to some very dark places, hard places, places where pain beyond measure is all you can think about. Where anger consumes your entire being. Injuries... that impare you, and the frustration of not being in control of your body can only be released through tears and the gritting of teeth. This is the point one of my Earth Angels stepped in. I have learnt to 'trust the timing',Sorelle, you saved my mind, you awakened my spirit, you taught me how to fight this physical battle with the power of my mind.

The subconscious mind is an extraordinary thing, it protected me from the moment that car impacted, until I woke 24hrs later. Cannot recall a thing, but I managed to recite to police important an specific details like who to contact, it was like my mind was on auto pilot without me knowing!
It amazes me how my subconscious mind protected me that day, working with Sorelle from Pure Conciousness has helped me to harness this power on a day to day basis through meditation. On days and even in the middle of the night when pain or anxiety crept up, I would use techniques taught to help overcome these hurdles. I realised that the more I focused on the positives and the more I changed my energy, the clearer I could see my pathway, the lighter my stomach felt, the more positive results came in waves. I feel my accident was the universe giving me a back hand, a huge reality check, a new opportunity to re evaluate my life and what I want, who I want to be. Although circumstances tried to take me away, I fought hard to be here, and that realisation changes a person.

Even though my body is weak, my mind is strong, my perspective is clear, and although each day will continue to throw challenges, I know I will be ok, I know to never question timing, because timing will show reason. Sorelle, you are truly an angel on earth, in so many ways you have helped me to save myself. In love and light I Thankyou, and I look forward to continuing our journey together xxx

#A Tribute to Mr Robin Willams

When my husband endured recovery at Shenton Park after a severe motorbike accident...
A lovely older nurse told the story of one her past patients, who went on to marry and travel the world as a quadraplegic...who was regular email contac...t with Christopher Reeves... She alerted us to the fact that Christopher could not afford the care to be turned and treated by the American hospital system and it was Robin Williams who loaned him the money in the end for this care...We were deeply touched and appreciative of this story as it shifted our perspective about the facilities at Shenton Pak Hospital...which once was the best facility for spinal injuries in the southern hemisphere in the 1970's...


May we respect the laughter he brought to our souls ...

May we cherish the fact that his many characters,
never grow old...

May we realize that all one desires, is a peaceful state...

May we have the depth of compassion to accept his fate...

For we do not have the right to judge another's FREE WILL..

We can trust his energy remains with us still...

Forever I will cherish your incredible art...
That you created laughter in my heart

And so I want you to know on this sad day...
